Well Gina, I did it! My check up with Dr. Connell went well. NED 15 years on November 14. The doctor talked about all she has learned from Dr. Kemeny and the relationship they have. We are in good hands!
Continue to use your wonderful writing gift to help other patients. I have tried legislative advocacy, but my heart is in one to one peer counseling. I get more from it than my patients do. We all need hope ( no guarantees) but we all must try to live like we are going to live. You never know what the future brings. Stay present in the good moments. May there be many stars in your future!
